Retrosaria Zagal is a bulky weight yarn made from 100% Portuguese merino wool, sourced from sheep raised in southern Portugal. Spun in Portugal, this two-ply yarn combines the softness of merino with natural bounce and warmth.
Its rounded construction creates a full fabric with excellent stitch definition, particularly suited to cables and textured stitches. The collection includes natural wool shades alongside two-tone marled colours.
Zagal knits up quickly on larger needles, creating warm garments with a comfortable feel.
